It really depends on what you do with your computer. Looks like the author of the article are using some pretty heavy stuff (video editing) and also have a ton of tabs open in multiple browsers. 32 GB (or even 16 GB) would be a waste of money for regular "Joe" or "Jane" who use their computer...
