In a couple years time this speed will probably become standard. Just like 2133MHz and 2400MHz on RAM was rarely used just a few years ago and now 2133MHz is more or less a standard for a high end gaming PC.

I think in terms of specs it is the only thing iOS needs. Unlike a processor there is a very limited amount of optimization possible until you have to write stuff to secondary storage and make the system slower. 2GB would be a good move

3GB is reserved for the operating system on Xbox, thats already down to 5GB, then there is the regular RAM, that is about 1.5GB-2GB for a high end game, so thats 3GB used for VRAM.

Just a note guys, this is a different studio to the main studio that worked on Crysis games. This is developed by Crytek UK. So could be completely different to crysis with support and stuff like that.

Unreal is a much easier engine to use compared to CryEngine and much better for indie developers, Cry Engine is only good for big developers who have the time to make it worthwhile using that engine
