Update: I returned the motherboard for a replacement and everything is working fine now.

Hmm i've reseated the CPU like five times now so I doubt it's that. I've seen many similar problems on this exact motherboard, so maybe I'll return it and get another. Thank you for the support

Just removed all ram, leaving just cpu, cooler, fans, and hard drive in the board. I'm not getting anything anymore, no green led or response when I press the power button -update- the power supply to the mob was a bit loose, things power up again but still no beeps.
