Thank you for replying. I've not taken the battery out, just disconnected it. I was trying unsuccessfully, to get Samsung Kies up and running, and one site said to disconnect the battery if all else fails. I've got 2 of 4 cables reconnected, but I can't get the other two. The plastic at the end...

I'm replacing the battery in my Galaxy Tab. But, I cannot re-connect the ribbon cables. The little lever is 'up', but I can't guide the cable in. The plastic on the end of the cable is too bendy. Can I cut it off? Thanks John
