I mean the problem existed even before I bought this monitor. I'll buy a different motherboard, GPU and CPU in February anyway but I was hoping to solve this problem none the less. Thank you for your help

Sadly not, I returned the 16gb modules a few months ago. Also a few weeks ago I had the problem, that the white VGA LED on the mainboard was on which indicated, that the GPU wasn't detected or faulty, after updating all drivers and replugging the GPU, the VGA LED was gone but from time to time...
