Would the 520w SeaSonic PSU be enough for a FX-6300 and a Sapphire R9 270?

Well we kind of need to know your budget, power supply. Also your CPU and case size wouldn't hurt.

I think 420w would be enough for a Radeon 7770 which is about $100 or less. If you go much further you're probably going to want to get a new power supply.

Most laptops can't have dedicated graphics cards installed into them. And I can't really find anything that says your laptop allows a dedicated GPU. So I'm going to say it's a no go.

If you install a discrete GPU the integrated one is shut off.
