    Temerature Difference

I have just overclocked my Q6600 (B3) on my Asus p5q deluxe to 3ghz at 1.3 volts. During stress test with Prime 95, i noticed something odd, I had three programs open for determining the temperatures (everest ultimate, speedfan, and real temp). Speedfan and real temp showed the temps at around...

    Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Heatsink

    Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Heatsink

that one looks great, real quiet the only thing im concerned about was its reliability. There are reviews on sites, where the lifetime of that fan is in question. thats what im worried about. I saw the Scythe Mini Kaze, it looks better but im really not sure.

    A Choice Between Two Heatsinks

im not sure if the scythe will perform better but from experience i can tell you the noctua cooler will be dead silent. I use their 120mm fans in my case and at full speed you cant hear them.

    Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Heatsink

This question is pretty simple... I am planning on overclocking a core i7 to about 3.8ish ghz on a Asus P6t Deluxe V2. I heard that the northbridge heatsink doesn't cool passively very well. So I want to get a 40mm fan to keep it cool. here is where it gets tricky. I need it to be quiet. (40mm...

Noctua - quite overclocking question.... (core i7)

its the Noctua core i7 kit i came with 2 of the P fans. I haven't purchased yet, i still making sure it will be ok for overclocking. I just found out that Megahalems are available in the US now so im actually looking at those at the moment. If they work well im probably going to get that over...

Noctua - quite overclocking question.... (core i7)

have you heard of the prolimatech megahalems, they look amazingly good plus they just came available in the US. They look better than a TRUE. I was thinking maybe get that and just put a Noctua 120mm fan on it (just 1). wats your view on that???

Noctua - quite overclocking question.... (core i7)

The vga card is a HD 4870 but im changing the cooler (was a double slot) to a Thermalright T-Rad2 with 2 92mm Noctua fans so it is going to blow right into the case. BUT i am using the Cooler Master HAF 932 case. it should have plenty of airflow to get the heat out ( at least i hope)
