Enable or disable AMD Dual Graphics (Laptop)

I have a laptop with an A10-5757m APU and a dedicated Radeon 8750m. Its very hard to find good info on laptop dual graphics, and I know this is the best dGPU that works with dual graphics. I am running the latest 14.6 beta drivers w/ frame pacing. Can someone please help me if they know...

    Laptop between $500 and $650

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a laptop for school mostly, but light gaming would be a plus (I do have a desktop though). I'm in Canada and here are my top two choices, the AMD being my number one. HP Intros $299 AMD-based Windows 8 Notebook

This is $300. Don't expect it to have a good SoC. It is okay for everyday tasks. Personally, I'm sirpriced they put a touchscreen. Its not that bad of a value.

Radeon 7900 series with mantle ?

It should play on high now. We've been given vague performance figures from AMD. It looks like in the range of 30%-100%. At least thats what I'd say.

can my cpu handle an AMD radeon hd7950?

Like above I would recommend overclocking. It should run fine on most games, but some (Planetside 2, Skyrim are two examples) will bottleneck.

    Should i choose Intel Core i5-4xxx OR i7-3xxx ??

Since you are selecting ULV chips, I assume power efficiency is a concern. For that concern, the Haswell ULV chips are much better. The i7-3xxxU are a bit more powerful CPU-wise, but trail in power effiecency and GPU performance. Overall I recommend the Haswell. Hope this helps!
