AMD's CPU replacement finally came in and tried testing it last night WITHOUT PBO or any overclocking, unfortunately I seem to be running into the same problems. Tried also disabling EXPO to see if it may be a DRAM problem but the same freezing still occurred, will test more on RAM stability...

I get it's a powerful CPU and all, but kinda sucks if I actually need to switch from air cooling to water cooling for it to work properly even without PBO on.

Follow up: Played Monster Hunter Wilds on release with PBO disabled and somehow managed to get into another system freeze, either meaning my CPU is defective or some other hardware is also defective, or even worst case scenario is multiple parts being defective. Not taking any chances, I've...

Update: Was finally able to see if I could recreate the issue on the fresh windows install. Unfortunately I was able to have it happen again using MH Wild's benchmark even with all cores set to -6. PC still freezes on crash rather than shutting down, so still no way to tell which core is causing...

Finally out of work and did a fresh windows install with updated chipset drivers. Found out AMD's site for chipset drivers is older than the one MSI has on their site for my motherboard. Forgot to mention that my PC did run stable with PBO disabled before the fresh install Testing Y-cruncher's...

I have a Straight Power 11 750W Platinum PSU and the mobo BIOS version is 1.L0. It doesn't seem like my PSU has an extra 4+4 connector for the CPU?

Will be trying a fresh install soon As for the 8-pin connector, I'll need to buy a new PSU soon since I believe my PSU doesn't support 16-pin for CPU power.

Just remembered that my motherboard has a 16-pin connector for the CPU and I'm only using half of them. While undervolting means I'm using less power, is there any chance that using all 16-pins could fix this?

Honestly would still like to be able to at least get something logged into Event Viewer so I could have something to go off of and have more info. Have no clue why my PC decides to freeze on an unstable undervolt rather than shut itself off

Recreated the crash, Reliability Monitor only comes back with this around the time of crash.

The only error from last time I remembered getting a crash only comes up with a "Windows was not properly shut down". I'll try to recreate the crash to see if anything pops up that I missed
