This is something I have been debating internally. I'm trying to find the balance of CPU and GPU rendering. I have seen that it underperforms in productivity, but I have also seen some vray benchmarks where the x3d does pretty well compared to the 7950x and 7800, assuming it's for the cores...

Glad to hear your input. yeah. I got a range of 900-1100 from newEgg, I think. the place I'm talking to seems to think that 1000w should be enough for this rig. In all honesty, I don't really understand the power spikes/needs of the 4090... I'll have to read a bit on that. thank you
