I think that CPU can handle almost anything... a normal i5 almost perfectly runs with 1080, this is an I7, you can go up all the way to GTX 1070 easily.

That might be true, however the R9 390's 1050MHz GPU isn't enough either. This card is like VRAM FOR THE WIN, but actually sucks a lot if I don't use all the VRAM. And let's be honest, as long as I stay on 1080p I don't think I'm ever going to use more than 5GB.
