I just opened my On-screen keyboard and it says my 'Alt' key is pressed

My keyboard doesn't type, this happened suddenly. When I press keys they have a different function. When I press tab it goes to all my tabs I have open and when in Google if I press 'space' then it gives me options to maximize, minimize the tray. When I press E it opens the Google Chrome...
