You don't need a Z motherboard if your CPU is not a "k" series. I would get a 1070 over a 1060, regardless of what 1070 it is. Also, please don't say VGA, it means video graphics array, it refers to the port/connector rather than a card..it's not the 90's so call it a GPU :) Yes, cpu coolers...

No, you cannot overclock a non-k i5 @Nevermind, i forgot it's the case with new CPUs You should be able to overclock it, but watch out for temps, and remember to rise the voltage accordingly
