That's how I had it before it started overheating, the card has no breathe room looking at the case today the side fan that intakes air only has a little room for the card and the card is about 1.5Inches above the bottom of the case with no where for the hot air to go.

My CPU is an i5-2320 @ 3.0GHz, GPU is 7850 2GB, PSU is a Corsair CX500 and I have 8GB RAM, the only reason I was going to do a Motherboard upgrade is I have another 4GB stick and my current MoBo only supports one GPU and two sticks of RAM.

I never said that it was slower, there is no real difference between 2.0 and 3.0 regardless. As far as I researched you only needed 22nm which is why I asked and why I was wondering it shows v1.1 on GPU Z instead of 2.0.
