Win7 Page Fault in Non-Paged Area

Fixed it! Turns out it was something bad that windows update had installed. All I needed to do to fix it was boot to a live OS environment and delete: C:\Windows\system32\FNTCACHE.DAT Yay! See here for a more detailed explanation

Page Fault in NonPaged Area BSOD

I'm having the exact same problem, just start happening 2 days ago. I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting these things, but I'm totally stumped by this. I've confirmed mine is absolutely NOT a hardware error. Did you by chance install windows updates on the last working windows session? My...

My computer keeps turning off at random times.

I bet your power supply is to blame. Over the years, I've had many power supplies fail on me, and when it does, the computer will suddenly shut off during high stress. I bet it happens only when you're running a demanding program, yeah? Unfortunately, if that's the case, you pretty much just...

Migrate Windows but exclude certain folders/files?

That doesn't help, because that's a guide for a normal migration of HDD to SDD. You must not have read my post thoroughly. I ended up just installing Windows 7 fresh on my SSD, and manually reinstalling programs as necessary.

Migrate Windows but exclude certain folders/files?

Hello, I have my current Windows 7 setup on a regular 2TB drive (about 1.4TB of which is used). I would like to move my installation onto my new SSD (only 256GB), and obviously I can't simply clone it. I do NOT want to just install from scratch (I have a bazillion programs installed, it would...
