Ok I've done the conversion from AirOS to UniFi. I'll keep an eye on it now and let you know! In the meantime if anything else comes up I'll let you know as well.

APs are too far from each other to interact wirelessly but I'll take a look at the channels. Channel width is at 20Mhz. During the day it could be up to 10-20 users at the same time (too much?) but its hard to tell. Mostly through their smartphones and tablets. 1 or 2 users on the other APs...

I'd say keep it as simple as possible. Go with a gigabit switch as people suggested. Complicating the network doesn't help at all. Unless you need wireless in which case get a router with wireless or an additional AP only in the room that you need it in.

Thanks a lot bill001g for the quick answer. I've run some tests with ipref and everything seems ok with the network. From the modem router to the last AP ipref shows a loss of 0.003% and a bandwidth of 15-20 Mbits. ping remains at 1ms. Although there is a significant difference in bandwidth...
