I would suggest the issue be with ram. The issue I have had 3 times now was where the PC Light (eg power light) would be on, but nothing would ever show on the display (no splash boot screen or anything) and the HDD light would also never turn on. This is a failure to POST and POST checking...

i have only just registered but i am getting this as well, literally no signal right from the start, tried the cmos jumper and battery, tried all my OS`s (linux, win7 and 8.1) and tried leaving only one ram in, i get no beeps and no signal right from the start, not even a bios flash screen...
