[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

Thank you for your patience @King Dranzer and for listening to me. I'm only following the parts list that they're providing and if I'm not able to get the ones that I want, I'll definitely get a word from here. Honestly, I might have to get the NAS and HGST HDD from online. Will decide about it...

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

I thought of it, but we might get a second monitor for library stats to be shown in the office. Do you think Intel can handle two monitors? I wasn't sure, tbh. We live in Chennai and we'll be able to get the above mentioned parts way cheaper than the online prices in our market. Also, the...

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

So when it comes to Crucial 500GB vs WD 500 GB there's a very less write speed increase in WD but there's also a small price increase. Getting a 1TB of SSD doesn't seem to fit our circumstance, as we'll be using the same softwares and not use the workstation for anything else.

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

You're right about that. At the moment we only need 4TB of hard drive space, so I guess I'll be able to fit i7 with the same budget. I'm sorry to have put up Amazon Links which are misleading. We're planning to buy the parts from a local vendor and I've chosen th ones that parts that they...

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

Makes sense. But I doubt if we'll be doing any high image manipulations or rendering, it'll usually be image stitching and pdf making. I guess I'll buy a mobo that can fit 32 GB RAM and just buy 16 GB RAM at the moment. If needed, we can always upgrade. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm working...

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

Thanks for the build list. NAS is a very good idea for Backup data. Thanks for that suggestion. I'm still thinking of going with a CPU with more cores, so I'm coming up with a build. Will post it here soon. Please let me know what you think of it.

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

Thank you so much for the list. This greatly helps me with the idea. If you don't mind, could you explain why you think we might require 32 GB RAM? Some of these parts are costlier in my region. So, I'll come up with a list and get your suggestion on it, if that's ok.

[SOLVED] Suggest a build or digitization of books?

I did not have any particular reason to choose i7 except for the fact that we'll be automating the digitization process and digitize several books at the same time. I assumed that parallel digitization might require more cores and clock speed and since our budget allowed us to get a good CPU...
