Thanks for prompt reply. But this will not solve my problem due to following facts which I have already mentioned. This is not so easy problem. 1. ITS OPTICAL DRIVE IS FAULTY. 2. ITS BIOS DO NOT SUPPORT FOR USB BOOT.

I have Sony Vaio laptop PCG-7D2L. Its OS has become faulty and on advice of someone I formatted by attaching to desktop as usb but I am not able to reinstall OS . Its BIOS does not support for usb boot and optical drive is already faulty. I seek help in this regard from all members. K K Sharma
