I went into bios and there was no turbo boost option anywhere. Also i have this laptop for around 2/3 years , and I've had this overheating problem almost since the moment i bought this laptop, doesn't that mean it's not a cleaning problem ?

Yea i disabled turbo boost and it did not help, my cpu keeps working full speed no matter what limitations i put

Oh well, i didn't see your reply and downloaded drivers from the AMD website. Nothing changed. For some reason it still doesn't listen to my limitations and makes the processor work a lot more than i want it to work. I set my maximum power to 20% and minimum to 20%. It does not limit it.

I've never installed chipset drivers. Only gpu drivers. I can try installing them.

Okay so i found a thread in microsoft forum and guy said to run a chkdsc in cmd, i did that , and i think my problem is fixed. We'll see how it goes later on.
