CPU-z says I am on 4021. It looks like the bios update didn’t work, but my system has the new cpu in and is running

For giggles and fits I just turned it off and back on. It booted through safe mode and when I exited the bios it loaded straight to windows and seems fine. Should I just install the new cpu and see if it loads up fine?

The white light is on the debug section of the motherboard. The cpu is still the old 3600 since I didn’t want to try to install the new one until the bios had been updated. Should I still turn it off and take out the memory and m.2 drives?

I have an Acer GD235hz monitor. It only works at 120hz with a dual link dvi cable. The problem is dvi tends to be a pain. I was wondering if you could use a dvi to hdmi cable and connect the hdmi to the pc and dvi to monitor to try to trick it into thinking its a dvi signal. Will this work
