How can i make my pc faster?

An upgrade to an SSD may help you if your laptop does not already have one.

    GTX750ti on PCI 2.0 ?

I ran a 750ti on an Asus PCI 2.0 motherboard just fine. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the "motherboard can keep up to 1GB GPU memory" is for an APU rather than a dedicated graphics card.

GTX 1050 or GTX 1050 Ti?

The extra VRAM will definitely be more beneficial in newer titles, and the 1050 Ti is pretty much on par with the 960, so ultimately depends on what you're wanting to play and your maximum budget.

    Fan positions (Corsair 200R)

So have the fan next to the RAM, but still have the fan on the top of the case as an exhaust? I'm not sure if I confused you, but the CPU fan is currently facing down, I was just wondering if this new case fan will bring the heat out of the heatsink (which would have been originally been...

    Fan positions (Corsair 200R)

Hi Currently I have my Hyper TX3 EVO fan pointing towards the GPU (with around 10cm clearance between the two) in my Corsair 200R. There is also a 120mm intake fan at the front of the case, and a 120mm exhaust fan at the rear. I've just bought another 120mm fan to go on the top of the case, and...

    Computer constantly rebooting. Please help!

Have you got a spare PSU to test it with? At least then it would narrow down the possibilities, and it would save from buying a new motherboard if that isn't the causd

AMD Overdrive help - Thermal Margin

Yeah, I only started using Overdrive yesterday because HWMonitor said my CPU is running at 95c when gaming, which was a bit concerning yet hard to believe considering that a) the Max temp is 74c, b) I'm using an aftermarket cooler that is attached properly, and c) the case feels barely warm -...

APU A10 Kaveri 75C On Idle!!!???

Be aware that if you're looking at the "Thermal Margin" on the AMD Overdrive, this refers to the amount of degrees away from the maximum temperature the CPU is currently at, so if it is low, it means it is not far away from reaching its max temp.

    amd-a10 6700 serious overheating!!!

Use the overdrive software....the thermal margin basically means how much the CPU has to go to before it reaches its maximum temp. So for example, my CPUs maximum temperature is 74c, so if overdrive is saying a thermal margin of 30c, it means the actual temperature is 74c minus 30c, meaning it...

AMD Overdrive help - Thermal Margin

Hi guys, I'm not sure if I fully understand the Thermal Margin feature on AMD's Overdrive. At the moment, my thermal margin fluctuates between 40-55c. Since my CPU is an A8 6600k (which has a maximum temperature of 74c), am I right in thinking that the thermal margin means my actual CPU...

    A8 6600k Temperature Readings

The top of the case feels barely warm, which is leading me towards believing AI Suite. I did read on another post that HWMonitor is not great at detecting APU temps - is this true?

    A8 6600k Temperature Readings

Hi all, The only temperature readings I used to take from my CPU were from Asus' AI Suite II (they were around 30c idle and 47c load). However, I recently downloaded HW Monitor as I wanted to see the temps for my new GPU, but on this software its showing the CPU when gaming tops at 96c! My...
