Oh yeah, it's just a 300w power supply from an old dell optiplex, as far as I know, even though short in total power output, they're high quality power supplies, it's even got a 80 plus titanium certification. I would be pairing it with a low profile gpu (probably an rx 550) and 3 sata drives.

I want to buy a Q87M-E from Asus. This board requires an 8 pin CPU power connector, my power supply has a single 4 pin connector for the cpu. Will it be able to boot with a single 4 pin connector? I would be pairing it with an i5 4670 non-k so no overclocking. I've seen benchmarks with this cpu...
