Doesn't make much sense in my view why you would be at 100% usage. Did you do a fresh (totally clean) windows install?

Is it just in origin games? Say a youtube video still plays sound? I would try first reinstalling origin if so. If its a total loss of all sound for all things, did you try another listening device such as headphones to confirm its not an issue with your speakers?

If you are asking whether trying the CPU with the bent pins (assuming it goes in) will harm the mobo itself, then I have never heard of such a thing happening. If you want to be cautious, you may want to wait for someone to come along who says they did the same and everything was fine.
