    I would recommend upgrading your GPU to at least a 1060 or a 1070, but that's out of the price range you're looking for. Otherwise, this build works out perfectly for all three of those games.

    The 2700x is 25% better than your current CPU. If you change from Intel to AMD, however, you will need to purchase a new B450 or AM4 board that supports Ryzen 1st and 2nd generations. The i7-8700k is 7% better than the 2700x, but i would recommend staying with AMD.

    What games do you plan on playing the most? Also, what are the specs you're looking at? I could recommend the AMD CPU being a Ryzen 2600 and a 1060 6gb GPU with a stick of CORSAIR Vengeance LPX (2x8) 3000. An MSI b450 Tomahawk motherboard would support these and a 2Tb storage will be a great...

    Agree with vapour, but also make sure you're pulling down the plastic retention levers. If you're not filling all the available RAM channels, read your motherboard's manual to see which specific slots you should fill first. You should also make sure your RAM sticks are all of the same type.

    Are your sticks DDR4? Your mobo supports DDR4 3200+.
