    I thought that too but then I tried if that's a problem. I loaded my internal drive and set it up with page file caching. Then I uninstalled the device so Windows won't mount it. I got an error saying something along the lines of "Page file could not be loaded so it was recreated".

    If your laptop is one of the few models that don't have a soldered CPU, yeah, it's possible, but is it recommended? Absolutely not. Most laptops can't handle a CPU bigger than the one already in them. Post the make/model of your laptop and we'll see what we can do.
