Could it be a driver problem but then I can't see a display to download the driver

I am not seeing anything no bios no windows or anything, it just turns on and then stays on

I have just bought a gigabyte ga-ma770-ds3 motherboard, I have self assembled it myself, everything powers up fans lights fan on graphics card, the lot but I am just not getting a video signal from my card to monitor, I have tried all different leads that I know work the graphics card works...
