Hi all I have this old computer I was gonna scrap some parts from and I was wondering what's the highest end graphics card I can run with this processor without bottlenecks occurring it's the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+

Oh and also didn't mention that I compared my ssd vs the one you suggested and mine was faster and has 12 more gb of storage and the reason for a 1000w power supply is future proofing

And I used the comparison link you gave me and the difference in gaming with my gragraphic card and yours was only lilike 5 fps which the human eye can't even pick up and the 290 rendered video faster than the 970 and so did the 6 core processor vs the 4690k

How will a quad core be better for editing and rendering video vs a 6 core with hyper threading and ddr4 vs ddr3 for editing I don't see how that's better than my build

Ok so 8gb of ddr4 is like 16gb of ddr3 kinda and isn't the 780 better for video editing because it has more cuda cores?

I'm going to be doing a lot of video editing isn't 16gb or more a must? Or is ddr4 different?

Yes I'm going to overclock and and yes I know about the 970 and 980 the reason I chose the sli 780s is because I have a lot of friends who use them and they have stellar performance and I just didn't even consider them.
