advice for upgrading OLD 2005 alienware area 51 7500

To be honest, I dont think any of it is worth upgrading. Unless you can get something like a q6600 for next to nothing and more DDR2 ram (which may cost a lot) it wouldn't be worth it. If you can get cheap ram and a core 2 quad..you could add a decent video card and it may be ok for a little...

Windows 7 7601 "this copy of Windows is not Genuine" when it is genuine

I had this happen once. Check your system date. It could be your CMOS battery went bad and the date reset itself back to the original date..long ago. Once you fix the date, the errors will go away..if this is the problem.

    660 sc sli vs 770

Is it worth getting an i7 4770k for gaming?

Well, I cant speak for all, but I do more than gaming. That is why I chose the i7 4770K. Also, I got it for 249 at microcenter, so it was a no brainer.

Is it worth getting an i7 4770k for gaming?

if your just going to game, get the 4670K and better gpu. 4770K, for now, is not that much better for gaming. you probably wouldnt even notice the difference. But you would notice with a better gpu.
