I own two computers, and recently I have been getting adware on them. Specifically chrome extensions that are adware. One of the computers I barely use, but when I do use it, I log on only to find that there is adware in chrome. Could this be an infection of my router? If so how can I remove it?

So i have a GTX 770 SC w/ ACX 2Gb, and a single 1600x900 monitor. In the future i would like to upgrade to two Monitors (1600x900). I was wondering if my GTX could support it? If so, how would my performance go down in games.
