    Thanks for help. Would appear that the sata cable was not making contact as it suddenly appeared and all is well.

    I have fitted a 2nd 1Tb hardrive for storage on my computer. The software is windows 8.1. I have conected the cables a the manual. The hardrive does not show up in the disk manager. The hardrive is a seagate. Do I need to go into bios settings? Help!!
