Oh one last question, please. When I run winver it shows I am on Windows 10, but I noticed in my BIOS it said Windows 8. Do you know what that's about?

I have an X99A MB that came with six PSU cables for GPU. four are 8 pin and 6+2 pin. Another two, however, have an extra, shorter, 6-pin sticking out of the 6+2 side. What are these offshoots for, and can they work with GPU that requires two 8-pin cables?
