not sure about the temp though cause i have never heard of metro last NIGHT before. maybe it is less demanding than metro last LIGHT.

sli 980 will give the best overall performance. anything more than 2cards ( triple setup ) will lost you more performance.

280x definitely. the 760 is no match for the 280x. should get a 650w if you want to get 280x and overclock the i5

280x is better for 2 monitor, nice frame rate, nice settings. still you need a 650w+ to do that. In the end, you would have to upgrade your psu before any gpu upgrade.

500w isnt going to be enough. 650 at least

what about AMD fx cpu? it is better. the fx 6300 perform almost the same and could last longer.

both of them(250 and 7750) performs almost the same but the later might get a slight better frame rate because it got a more stable driver whereas the 250 is still new(but could gone better than 7750 when a driver optimized for it comes out). IMO choose whichever that is cheaper

doubt anyone would heard it spinning at <30% unless you stick your ear to it. practically not useful at all and you had better no charge for extra just so because it can run at 65c at zero fan speed

why doesnt you have the high detail setting? and would a 7790 1gb perform the same as 260x 2gb in medium texture? if not which is better

that psu even came with a 2 8pin it is still a bad psu for a high end graphics card like 780ti

maybe your card have some power connection problem within its pcb or voltage prob in it. take it to service. dont game on it if not it might get too hot where it might damage your other component

doesnt see the word *spec* anywhere. what is your cpu easier?

should say the i7 combo is better

enough but just dont overclock both of them at once and dont over do it. a few mhz on the gpu or some .ghz on the cpu too would be enough.
