dont know if u have a seccond HDD with a system on it but u could try low level format. but like i said sound its no good. the tool is called hp low level format (or something like that) u need to use it in ur OS

make sure u use 2 different cables to power up ur card ( 2 different rails) it will work :P dont worry

y i have 2x 7970 double d eddition and never NEEEEEVVVVEEERRR use and auto update tool i had same problem i had to reset the bios and do a clean install ( i had an image hope u do too) good luck

if the sound is loud and comming from ur new HDD its probably defect if ur not sure it comes from ur HDD u can take a screwdriver and hold the metal part against the HDD and ur ear on the handle u would be amazed how much u can hear. but yea sound from hdd not good probably send it back

y games like crysis and elderscrolls , are cpu heavy u will probably have low fps there because of the cpu, i would go with an intel cpu but it will cost u more monney

do u have multiple monitors? like 1 in ur vga card and one onboard? if that is the case maybe u need to tinker in the bios, try to find the option dont know the correct spelling but it should look like: init display first : set it to igfx

try to power down ur computer unplug all monitors only but ur hdmi connector in it and start it up it probbably works

i think its ur PSU to little power i would go atleast 650 and also check on ur amps think ur card needs 30amps and some psu's wont pull that off. if u can try to connect ur card on 2 different rails (cables) dont use 1 power cable to connect ur vga card
