This is my first pc that I spent a lot on in my opinion, and I don't want to ruin it.

I'm downloading GTA V and it's taking very long, and I'm wondering if it's bad to have my pc on all night.

Is it possible to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8.1 without deleting everything on it, or just keeping personal files. Is it possible to keep my steam games and other things. The stuff I downloaded were for Windows 7/8/8.1 so I thing It would work if I keep the files.
