I just bought a water temp sensor with 2 pins to an LCD display, is there any reasonable way to connect these pins to a USB controller so Aida can monitor it?

furious rignt now the push pins dont reach far enough out even on their furthest setting theyre still about 2mm shy on each side. many forum posts have said its a tight fit so i forced it and now the ram side of the mobo is bent up!
