Thanks for the replies, i found this one, a Intel Core i7-880 Quad Core 3.06GHz 8MB Socket LGA1156 95W SLBPS B1 45nm on Ebay for £70, which is within my budget. When i google this cpu, i can't seem to confirm that it definitely supports AVX, can you shed any light on this? Thanks again.
