    Thanks for the reply. Though I am not using headphones anymore for gaming and watching movies.. I am just using a 5.1 surround sound system. That link might be just for headphone use.

    I am wondering if the Realtek HD Audio driver will work on this external sound card that was bought online because this Realtek driver has virtual speakers enabled for me with my previous motherboard. Please help. I really want to use this feature of realtek. Thanks.

    No worries. I have found a way to manually remap the ports. I just put the side speaker on the front headphone speaker as I use a USB headset so kinda useless to me. Anyway thanks for the idea of remapping ports. :)

    I have realtek audio manager. I will check later this remap thingy. I don't know how to use the remap yet. Can you give me instructions on how to do it so when I get home, I will do it. Thanks. Sorry, I am at work now. ;)

    have a Z77 Extreme4 motherboard that says it has 7.1 Ch HD Audio. Has green, orange, black, blue, and pink ports but I can't find the grey port for side speakers. What can I do to have 7.1 Ch? It only gives me 5.1. Thanks in advance.
