Yes it has the 3 pin jumper like in the first part of the manual and I did that to clear it last night didn't work. I don't fully understand the second part where it says there is a clear switch in back of the 0/I button. There is a reset button next to the 0/I button and the clear c moss pins...

yes just a black screen. mobo is p6T im just not sure if its deluxe or se sorry and yes the keyboard and mouse were plugged in to the back usb ports and they didnt look like they were powered.

Ok I got the hard drive and Ram to wok on the hp so I know its not the ram or the ssd I also took out the battery from my asus motherboard in hopes of resetting everything but that didnt work turns on, and fans are normal now but still just getting a black screen.

that could be the case Plaintuts, I'm not 100% sure what p6t motherboard series i have since i lost the manual, but if it is how can i reset my motherboard? it has a power and reset button on the motherboard itself and i pressed it for a few second but it didn't change anything.
