Im using ultimate performance on power settings and using msi afterburner to check those mhz's at games.

Hello recently i upgraded my 10850k to 12700k and I have problems when its come to overclocking. I set allcore 51 and voltage is 1.3 but cpu never hit 5.1 on any program or game. I used cinebench, prime95, occt but it doenst go above 4.850 mhz. This happened after i did a bios update, before...

Turn off xmp on bios and give a try. Insta alt+f4 on games mostly comes from ram.

Do you see your ssd in bios? If you do change first boot to that ssd. If it still does goes to bios try to install windows to that ssd do not format the ssd just click next so you can get your files from windows.old folder.

You should try your system with another psu.

Didnt read whole thread. Want to ask did you try your system with different psu?

Whats your voltages under the heavy load?

I hope that piece gonna fix your problem but im gonna say your cpu is already hot at out of the box and whats your motherboard?

Try undervolting your cpu with xtu. My 10850k was getting 90-95 on default settings now it doesnt hit 70.

My guess is psu or ssd. If you can try these components on another psu-ssd.

Did you plug the 8 pin cpu cable which comes from psu? If you did check the psu if its modular probably you plug to wrong slot.

Already done that :) I just tested everything cpu,gpu and ram is fine. Psu and motherboard didn't survive that storm :)
