it appears that my headset is no longer working also, so I think ive disabled all of my audio ports :(

hi there all, sorry this is in the wrong section none of them seem appropriate however i am running windows 8.1 so I have my head set plugged into the back of my pc and and an external set of speakers that I plug into the front jack when im not using my headset due to my current set up the pc...

iv taken the plunge and im going to give 8.1 a try ..... so its saying that I will lose everything , i have already moved the stuff over to my 1tb hdd, do i need to unplug this drive to stop everything from being erased from it, or will i only lose everything on my C drive? (which I'd be ok with)

on the topic of old parts ... I have a NVidia quadro fx370 .... is this also rubbish bin worthy ??? I also have an asus 9500gt .... card has served me well for years still runs mint but obviously it doesn't really keep up anymore ..
