could someone help me please i have the graphics card in and it can run and it says it works perfectly but when i install drivers i get error 43 in device manager whats the problem

all i know is its a DDR1 motherboard

I have a ATI Radeon x1950 pro 1GB, and a Nvidea GeForce 6200. The problem im getting is when i start my computer the ATI runs like a dream no problem but if i take out the Nvidea my computer beeps at me and, the ATI doesnt seem to work. or is it a motherboard problem. Any ideas
