Check your BIOS to see if there's any video input options, i think you'll have to change that. Also if this is a new build/ your first build, make sure your gpu has all the power connectors it needs and is snapped into the pcie slot correctly. Sounds stupid, but its a common mistake.

seems like it could be a cpu or motherboard problem. You could take it to a computer store and see if they'll let you try it on different parts for cheap.

You should be able to create 2 different networks on one router. If you do that, you might be able to set the "secure" one to not show it's SSID, so you'll need the name to connect. The two networks wouldn't have the same traffic or see the computers on the other.

there's really no such thing as a "better" psu, if it has the same 80+ rating, the same wattage amperage voltage etc, it'll perform nearly identically. And you won't actually get any different performance from it anyways.

check the antivirus, also try a different wifi adapter if you have an extra.

You might need a higher wattage psu but it might work. see if you're getting over 400 watts or so on your current setup with a wall plug electricity measure thing (i dont know what they are called haha) and if you are you'd probably want to get a higher wattage psu.

get a gtx 980 instead of 2 970s, it'll be plenty and about $100 cheaper Swap out for that i5 4690k. It'll be more than enough. 1866mhz RAM has no real difference, get 1600. What are you planning on playing?

If you installed your psu upside down there is really no problem, you'll just have to twist your cables and your switch might be a bit awkward.

well... make sure all of your cables are plugged in correctly. There's lots of plugs on your mobo that need to be plugged it.
