All right, the stuttering is still there but the frequency decreased from about 20 mins -2 hours to 2 hours - 4 hours, so that is a major improvement.

Some games have problems with SLI, I would rather take a GTX 980 or a GTX 980 ti over two 970s.

The EVGA one has a higher clock speed, if you can spare the extra buck I would go for that one.
