Help Needed. Crap Silicone or Not Doing it Right. 6700K

I was just trying to see if my CPU would run at 4.5GHz at 1.350V and it failed that off rip. I thought the Sky Lake i7 6700K was good at OCing to at least 4.7 maybe even 4.8GHz. I payed a premium hoping for user control in the future and it can't hold a clock of 4.5GHz at 1.350V. I would go past...

Which GTX 1060 should I get?

Macho_ if you are running 1080p or higher then a ton of games nowadays uses more than 3gb heck they use more than 4gb so when certain settings are turned up in graphics it could lead to stuttering.

Help Needed. Crap Silicone or Not Doing it Right. 6700K

Hey all, about a year ago I spent about $2100 on my pc. Got a 6700K on a GIGABYTE GA-Z170x-UD3 mobo. Haven't really tried to OC until now because my backing for getting the K version was it was already clocked to 4.0 and I got it so I can utilize more power when the CPU was starting to get old...

Are There Any Full Cover Water Blocks For The Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Edition?

I wish the gpu portion was see through then I could see if there are fins that contact the water that are part of the heat sink that would be nice.

Are There Any Full Cover Water Blocks For The Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Edition?

I checked that link you provided and it looks like it is a full cover block because if you click the other picture that shows the underside of the block it looks like there are points of contact for the VRMs and memory.

Are There Any Full Cover Water Blocks For The Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Edition?

I know this might sound like I am whining a bit because my temp reaches 75c, I know this is a perfectly acceptable temp, but I have a good reason to want to water cool. Pascal started using GPU Boost 3.0 which auto OCs while in use, the downside is when the gpu chip starts to warm up the card...

Are There Any Full Cover Water Blocks For The Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Edition?

I find that this card runs a little hotter than I am comfortable with and was wondering if there is a company that manufactures a full cover block for this specific card. I checked ekwb and a couple other sites and they only make the full cover water blocks for the nvidia founders edition cards...

    Abnormal Overclock i7 6700K ???I Think???

What are the best GPU stress testers? I already have Heaven and Valley but heaven seems a little outdated. I can tell because its shadow resolution is extremely low while benchmarking and Valley has been around forever also.

what about the 1.368V when in BIOS I only designated a max of 1.360V?

    Abnormal Overclock i7 6700K ???I Think???

OK, so here is some screen shots of the stress test with RealBench at 4.5GHz, base at 1.300V, dynamic at +0.060V. It ran stable for the hour that I set the stress test for. What kind of gets me is at points Vcore was at 1.320V, 1.332V, 1.344V 1.356V, and even rarely reaching 1.368, all...

    Abnormal Overclock i7 6700K ???I Think???

You seem to know a lot about overcklocking. What is a safe range of voltage for a Skylake CPU? Would it be ok for the CPU to be ran at a base of 1.3V and a dynamic of +0.060-0.070V for a max of 1.36-1.37V? I seen in some other forum that intel states there Skylake CPUs can be ran safely at...

    Abnormal Overclock i7 6700K ???I Think???

I did manual mode when I was testing Prime95 with large FFT's before you jumped on the thread to help me out and I wasn't able to get a stable 4.5GHz unless it was at 1.4V
