thats was kind of you to get back to me, what you say about the monitor and the driver makes sense now to me . I had posted a post on the dell website as its still under warranty, one guy posted link to Catalyst control centre which i downloaded from there then my AMD graphic driver went over it...

im just not trying to get all back to normal after having to reinstall;l windows 7 home 64 bit. device manager says standard VGA graphics adapter however the text is just not the way it was before. I'm not to sure under what column i would find the right driver, can any one point me in right...

im on an old latop and in the midst of updating drivers. Ita a windows vista 32 bit, dell 1545 inspiron. There is an update on dell website asking that i confirm an update BIOS A14 from an A2 , not to sure if i should click yes, any advice please ? thanks
