I was thinking of using a Monitor but a tv will do, but what size is best for driving games?

Any monitor over 60Hz is really only meant to be used for computers. Consoles do not have any benefit for 120/144Hz screens.

    MSI GTX 760 2GB ou 4GB

Save your money and grab the 2GB model. It's more likely that you will come across a game that is simply too demanding for the GPU than a game that requires more than 2GB, even at resolutions higher than 1080p.

I was thinking of using a Monitor but a tv will do, but what size is best for driving games?

Personally, I find a 32" screen to b e perfect for that distance. That way, the screen is big enough to encompass most of your view, but isn't so large that you get lost in it. I personally recommend getting a Samsung UN32EH5000. It is a $300 32" screen with a native resolution of 1080p. I...

Would 550w PSU be good for R9 280X?

A high end system paired with a R9 280X should consume no more than 300w total. That 550w PSU should do quite nicely!

    GTX 660 on My computure

The GTX 660 will be a decent match. Depending on the games you play, there may or may not be a bottleneck, but it shouldn't be too terribly bad if there is a bottleneck. The Q8200 is only marginally slower than an AMD FX-4300, which is a modern CPU priced at ~$110. Don't downgrade to a GTX 650...

Upgrading 8400GS for my son, very little money :(

Depending on the games your son plays, upgrading the video card might not do anything. Some games requires a fast CPU, and if what he plays requires more CPU horsepower than what the system has, that is $60 wasted. At any rate, assuming what he plays doesn't require too much CPU horsepower, I...

looking for monitor suggestions for mmo

There are a lot of options that really comes down to preference. Different people want different things from monitors. Some prefer high resolutions, others prefer high refresh rates, and others prefer size. Do you have any resolution, refresh, aspect ratio, or size preference?

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

There is a massive difference in quality between 1440p and 4k. But honestly, until both games and video cards mature enough to make 4k gaming truly viable, your best bet is to simply downsample a 4k resolution. That way, if you need to go below 4k, the image doesn't blur.

Is a 24-inch monitor too small for 4K?

UI scaling does not affect resolution or image quality, but it affects your usability of the game's HUD.
