    Question Can slightly loose cpu fan cause my computer to freeze?

    Cooler was not attached tightly. I could move the fan up and down about 1/2 inch. The Fan wasn't clipped all the way. I clipped it and secured the fan to the CPU. I downloaded Core Temp and both of my cores are running a little hot I think 50-70 C. Should I re apply the thermal paste?

    I just bought a new mobo and cpu. After installing I checked to see if it works but the cpu fan started to spin for a second and then it died. I reconnected and disconnected everything multiple times with no luck. its not turning on at all now. PSU is working fine (tested with a paper clip) Any...
