Why not connect just the hdmi? U want to connect one gpu card to one screen? And yes,u can use multiple screen or one screen with dual connection

And connect you're hdd with the os to the lowest sata number at your mb ( sata 0/1 port)

How do u know that the fan do working properly??? Maybe some cable (s) touch his blades?? maybe the fan is not seating,-look enough to the mb? Did u put some thermal paste? Maybe your hdd is the culprit?? Even if the hdd new, it may be faulty! Try to reset & update the bios! Different sata...
