    Should I try using DDR3 1066MHz because the Intel website states that the I7 965 extreme supports 800 and 1066 MHz ram?

    Asus motherboard beeps

    I tried putting one stick of ram in each slot and what happen was that the MemOK light would flash or the issue would stay the same. I didn't use an anti static wrist band but touch the metal part of my case to let off static electricity.

    Asus motherboard beeps

    I built a new PC with some old school hardware, I7 965 extreme and Asus P6X58D-E, and on the first boot I got no signal and beeps. The beeps went as so 1 beep, pause, then 2 short beeps. Also the MemOK light is red. Any fix to this problem? (Using DDR3 1600MHz RAM)

    Need help with RAM

    I'm building a PC with an i7 965 extreme and planning to use an AsRock X58 extreme. But in the description of the board it states "DDR3 2000/1866/1600 are supported for one DIMM per channel only." Can I use 2x4 8Gb clocked at 1600Mhz with this board?

    Fan cooling help

    Is a radiator fan and a psu enough to cool a whole system? My motherboard only has two system fan connectors which will be occupied by the liquid cooler.

    Can I use DDR3 1600 MHz ram with this motherboard and CPU- Dell X501H and I7 965 Extreme. Is there a chance that the board would downclock the RAM to 1066MHz because I read that the board only supports 1066MHz?
